Premium Canvas Prints and Framed Prints can be shipped internationally, with local production available in the USA and New Zealand for faster delivery and reduced transit times. 

We also ship to the UK and Europe - please contact us for a custom shipping quote to your location.


USA Canvas Prints & Framed Prints are produced within 3–5 business days.

New Zealand Canvas Prints & Framed Prints are produced within 5–7 business days.


PACKAGING:

All artworks are carefully and securely packaged using protective, purpose-designed materials to ensure your artwork arrives in pristine condition. Every order is quality checked prior to dispatch and includes tracking once shipped, so you can follow your delivery every step of the way. If you have any questions about your delivery, our friendly team is here to help via phone, email or chat.


RETURNS:

If you receive a damaged or faulty item, log into your account, navigate to the Resolution Centre, submit a dispute with the correct order details, and email clear photos of the item and its packaging. Please report any damage within 30 days of delivery so we can assess and resolve the issue promptly—once reviewed, a replacement or store credit will be processed within 7 days.


If you’ve changed your mind, notify us within 30 days of delivery and follow the return steps. Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in original condition. Please note that custom size items and custom wallpaper are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. The customer is responsible for the item until it is received back by us; if an item is damaged during return shipping, we may refuse the return or reduce the store credit accordingly.


Change-of-mind returns are issued as a store credit for the product value minus the original shipping fee. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and credits are provided within 7 days once the item is received and inspected.

Dharrang is a word from Wiradjuri language, meaning message stick.


'Message sticks' were used as a traditional way of communication.


Message sticks were transmitted between different communities across the massive landscape of Australia. Messages communicated may have included announcements of ceremonies, invitations to meetings, corroborees, or marriages.


In many cases, message sticks were objects that granted its carrier a safe passage and entry into the lands of other Aboriginal Communities, and on some occasions, the sticks were burnt after the message was received, to keep some business confidential.


Urban Road is committed to investing a stream of ongoing financial support back to our artist community. For every artwork sold, a percentage of the sale price goes directly back to the artist.

Rolled prints (canvas or paper) are delivered unframed and are not ready to hang.

  • Fine art paper, including 100% cotton rag options, for exceptional detail and colour depth
  • FSC-certified solid timber frames, sustainably sourced and precision-crafted
  • UV-protective acrylic glazing, which is lightweight, shatter-resistant and protects your artwork


Each piece is made to order and individually quality checked before dispatch.

What is the difference between canvas options?

We offer three canvas options to suit different styles and spaces:


Stretched Canvas (Ready to Hang)

  • Printed on premium polycotton artist canvas using archival inks for rich, long-lasting colour
  • Professionally stretched and gallery-wrapped over a 38mm timber frame- Image wraps around the edges for a seamless finish
  • Arrives ready to hang with pre-installed D-rings and hanging wire


Framed Canvas (Shadow Box Frame)

  • Stretched canvas set within a solid timber shadow box frame
  • Features a 5mm gap between the canvas and frame, creating a refined floating effect
  • Frame moulding: 10mm wide × 55mm deep
  • Adds approximately 40mm to the overall artwork size
  • Arrives ready to hang with D-rings and wire


Rolled Canvas (Unframed)

  • Printed on durable, museum-quality matte polycotton canvas using archival inks
  • Delivered rolled in a protective tube- Includes a 60mm mirrored edge to allow for gallery wrapping
  • Not ready to hang and requires stretching or framing

Can I change or update my order after placing it?

We’ll always do our best to help, but as all artworks are made to order, there are a few timeframes to keep in mind:

  • Within 24 hours: changes to artwork (image or size)
  • Up to 72 hours: frame colour changes may be possible (we’ll need to check)
  • Address changes: possible any time before dispatch
  • After dispatch: no changes can be made


If you need to update your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Yes — you can send your order directly to the recipient by entering their details at checkout. We don’t include pricing in our packages, so it’s perfect for gifting.

What is the difference between canvas and paper prints?

Both options use premium materials, but they offer different finishes:


Canvas prints are printed on polycotton artist canvas using archival inks, then stretched and gallery-wrapped over a 38mm timber frame. The image continues around the edges, creating a seamless, painterly, museum-style finish.


Paper prints are Giclée printed on archival-quality fine art paper, including 100% cotton rag options, producing sharp detail and a wide colour spectrum. They are typically framed behind UV-protective acrylic for a clean, refined, gallery-style look.
