Start by measuring the full width and height of your chosen wall. Because not all wall edges, ceilings, and cornices are perfectly straight or level, we'd recommend measuring to a few different points along the top and side of your wall, and then working off the largest measurements of each. Once you have your width and height, use this to choose the nearest possible wall size from the options listed. If your wall falls between sizes, then always round UP to the next largest size.

Prior to installation, we recommend using 140 grit sandpaper to sand down any bumps or imperfections on your walls. With a damp cloth, wipe down the entire surface, ensuring the wall is clean, smooth and dry. Avoid using chemical cleaners prior to hanging your wallpaper, as certain kinds of chemicals can cause the adhesive to fail. Allow any freshly painted walls a minimum of 30 days to dry before installing your wallpaper, and ensure that the paint you've used does not have a Teflon or silicone base, as this will prevent proper adhesion. Our wallpaper is suitable for most walls and has been tested and is recommended for use over many kinds of paints including high gloss, semi-gloss and satin paints. Please consult our Peel and Stick Installation Guide prior to installation to ensure that your wall is properly prepared. Our wallpaper will work best on smooth, gloss- or satin-painted walls. If your walls have recently been painted, you must allow a minimum of 30 days for them to dry prior to installation. We do not recommend using our wallpaper on highly textured surfaces, as this might lead to texture showing through, and inhibit adhesion. While some other Peel and Stick Wallpapers on the market are translucent in appearance, we are proud to say that our product is completely opaque. It is recommended, however, that the wallpaper be installed on light coloured walls, as especially dark or vibrant variations may lead to an alteration in the appearance of your wallpaper design. If you are worried about your wallpaper adhering correctly to your walls, or what the colour will look like, we highly recommend ordering a sample first. It is not recommended to hang wallpaper in areas of high temperature or high humidity, such as a bathroom or laundry, as this may inhibit the performance of the adhesive and cause the wallpaper to deteriorate.

Our Paste the Wall wallpaper is supplied in 120cm wide panels, which includes a 10mm overlap. This wallpaper product is designed to be used by professional installers ONLY, using the double cut on the wall installation method.

Please note that, while Urban Road's Peel and Stick wallpaper has been rigorously tested, and is designed to withstand general residential and light commercial applications, we cannot guarantee that under any and all circumstances the material will stay completely in-tact and/or that no adhesive will remain on the surface once it has been removed, or that your surface will not adhere to it. The actual performance life and removal of your wallpaper will depend on a variety of factors, including preparation of the walls, the age and type of paint used on your walls, angle and direction of exposure to excessive heat and light, application methods, environmental conditions and cleaning/maintenance of the wallpaper. In case of the wallpaper being used in areas of high temperatures or humidity, high altitudes, and industrially polluted areas the performance will be further reduced.
