THE BLOCK 2022: WEEK 05
It’s getting heated up at The Block with all the drama, the competition and most importantly,
the amazing room reveals that we’ve been seeing over the past few episodes!
Episode 21 was no exception. With a major task of a guest bedroom with an esuite to match,
the teams get their hands dirty and their creativity flowing.
Luckily a handful of our favourite pieces made its was to these stunning rooms! Were you able to spot them in last night’s latest episode?
TOM & SARAH JANE
Setting the benchmark high are Tom & Sarah’s wallpaper clad rooms in a confident palette of purples and blues.
The judges fell in love with their bold choices that make the space look very put together and “designer looking”
Matching this is a small powder room that continues the colour theme accented with our ‘Monochrome Natives’ Wallpaper.
Who can imagine such a small simple space can be such a visual treat?
We love how the duo was unafraid to use striking patterns despite having little room to work with.
We’ve never imagined this wallpaper to be used this way!

RYAN & RACHEL
Despite adding a few country elements into their guest bedroom, the judges found the room a little "timid".
With technical issues at play, they are left wanting more. Not until they saw the “Magazine worthy” bathroom, that is!
Now dubbed as their ”best bathroom yet”, this exciting contemporary space features exciting elements such as a gorgeous lavastone basin
and an Amanda Hinkelmann Aboriginal piece, ‘Wiraywinhangin Marramarra’, that brings texture and complements the tones of the space.

DYLAN & JENNY
Another Country Inspiried look, Dylan & Jenny had a play with lines and colours creating a small but well designed space.
The massive bed features a n array of cushions including ‘Patchwork Sketches’ heading the pact at the forefront.
With striking colours continuing on to the ensuite, the duo chose a stand out lilac sink that left the judges interested and wondering.
This was complimented with soft realxing pieces, including our ‘Vienna’ & ‘Odette’ Candles.

OMAR AND OZ
Recovering from placing last the week before, the duo was determined to do deliver a winning bedroom this week.
And that they did, including an ensuite bathroom to match!
Zen and warm are what best describes this space, with clean lines, soft hues and luxe textures.
The focal point of the room? One of our beloved Aboriginal art piece, Bila, to definitely grab your attention from the get go.
After the piece falling over, which do you prefer, resting on top of the headboard or oddly positioned?
Watch out for the coming weeks to see what's more is in store for the Block!
